It
has been a long, cold winter here in New England — the snowiest that we
have experienced in quite some time! But now, the earlier
sunrises, the lengthening days and the warmer temperatures mean that
Spring has finally arrived. Green sprouts of jonquils and grape
hyacinths have popped up in our perennial garden, and our seed and suet
feeders are doing a land office business as our year-round
feathery friends are joined by returning migrants. Soon we look
forward to enjoying scenes like this one of a group of enthusiastic
bathers partying in one of our bird baths.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
