New England Spring |
|
The snow may be falling, yet still I hear spring calling, and I wonder as those flakes softly float to the ground, will the promise of my gardens become a reality. Buds, poking up just days ago, Daffodils brave and bright, and purple Crocuses now hidden from my view. My hopes to plant Pansies, now delayed as I long to see their happy petaled faces. Spring is here, in pure New England garb, sporting the promise of blossoms someday soon. So I smile, even as the white flakes continue to quietly descend knowing in my heart that this too shall pass and end! |
